Meet Coach Matta

Jamie received a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science at Castleton University. His certifications include personal training, strength and conditioning and sportS nutrition. Interests include fishing, powerlifting, strongman and obstacle course racing, and Timber Sports. Jamie’s top accomplishments include:

Winning the Lightweight Championship Bench Bash, at the Arnold Classic in 2018.

In 2022, Jamie set the All-Time World Record in the Master's 45-49, 220 lb, Full Power, with a Bench Press of 710 lbs,and then broke an additinal All Time World Record in the Master's 45-49, 242 lb, Full Power with a Bench Press of 710.

At the Arnold Classic, in 2024, Jamie competed in the Anderson Bench Invitational and won the ligthweight category with a bench of 727.5 lbs.
